in his second “exhibiton refuge” in a former monastery, called casa morra, giuseppe morra presents a large exhibition with works by shimamoto, material and concepts by living theatre and relics of the orgies and mysteries theater. in the large courtyard of this residential complex, with my son leo, my director andrea cusumano, my assistant josef and numerous active and passive italian actors, we performed an action involving blood, intestines, and fish laid up on tables. the action of the crucifixion and the painting action were combined. tom walker a former actor of the living theatre said: “if julian beck had seen this action, he would have felt very pleased and understood.”
