Centre for Documentation, Training and Research houses digitized texts concerning the art of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, focusing in particular on the avant-garde. It offers tools for the study and understanding of the artistic phenomena, themes, and cultural challenges of the contemporary world, thus making the Museum an active place of analysis, learning, and training. The volumes it contains are an important documentary source for the artistic life in the period straddling the twentieth century and the new millennium. The department also promotes targeted, high-level academic research in a number of leading areas of art history, in addition to reaching out to other centres in Italy and abroad.
